We have a black situation around here...

At the beginning of our history, black was the first thing that existed, because black is not a color, is the absence of color, so there should not be color first and then absence of it, black was the first thing that should be present at that time.

When you think about black in fashion terms, the color have different semantics, it can be powerful, it can be sad, it can be dull, it can be shiny. Etiquette and Protocol always recall that you can wear black only in funerals and State Receptions, because is a serious color, and also it should be worn only at strictly formal events.

Personally, I love wearing black, most of my clothes are black actually. If pictures is worth a thousand words, well, black is worth a million words, because you cannot deny that you can express multiple things by wearing black, you can tell people if your day started bad, you felt depressed the whole morning and that's why you chose to wear black, also you can tell them that you woke up feeling like a million bucks and you decided to wear your favorite black suit (paired with the correct accessories of course) to go to work.

People say that black goes well with everything and most of the time it does, you just need to find the correct tone, shade or hue of the color that you want to wear with black. I prefer to pair black with gold clothing or accessories, also with white which Chanel converted as a classic, also black with red is a really good combination, because both colors together give such a powerful presence to the wearer.

The truth is that you cannot deny that black has a magnificent power, everybody will notice you if you are wearing the correct pieces, the correct shades, the correct texture, because that is one of the most difficult things when we talk about black, to create a texture, to create a game where you can tell people what, why and how you decided to wear it just by looking at the look you have created and not looking like a plain walking stain of black. So give black a chance and see you in my next post!
