"So many books, so little time"

I decided to start this post with that phrase from Frank Zappa, because you can never have too many books in your life, can't you?, the problem is that we do not set a reading time in our daily basis. Reading is a really important part of you as a person, either if you are reading the newspaper or if you are reading a blog, you are cultivating your knowledge. I like books that are fashion oriented, memoirs, and also art history books, even if they do not have that many words on them is really amazing to have those pictures full color on them, those details and those stories. I always end up creating a collection or a look out of books I have read.

The first one is a book that I want to read so bad!, just look at that cover!, those details are amazing. Balenciaga and Spain was written by Hamish Bowles and is available here

And talking about covers you cannot deny that you would like to have a compilation of every single US Vogue cover, well, this book has them all. The authors of this book were Dodie Kazajian and Hamish Bowles and you can find it here

Another classic to add to your book collection must be a Chanel book, you can read it over and over again and you will find something interesting on it, like a detail that you were never aware of. Available here

Grace Coddington has been always an inspiration to me, from her all-in-black uniform to her amazing editorials, the book collects her memoirs, from her famous car accident, to her beginning as a Vogue editor. Available here

And last but not least we have Carine Roitfeld's Irreverent, and believe me, the title says all, she is being known as one of the most acclaimed editors from Vogue Paris, her sexual spreads are always a classic from those Vogue years. Available here
