Milan Menswear Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 part 3

This is the third part of the Milan Fashion week reviews, we are going to see the presentations from Emporio Armani, Gucci, Moschino and Etro which showcased their collections for the next spring-summer.

Emporio Armani presented a collection based on dark hues of color, transparencies, a lot of clean cut pieces and in a very relaxed mood, which I think is the main feeling for this upcoming season.

Frida Giannini from Gucci, presented a very colorful collection inspired by the 70s, which was the best decade of the brand. We saw a lot of pastels, bold colors, foulard prints, blues and one black suit. This was a very good collection from Giannini

Kean Etro from Etro made a collection inspired by the bohemian roots of the brand, a lot of Paisley prints, silks and a lot of Arab references such as the turbans, sandals and the cut of the jackets. Even though there were a lot of dark colors the lightness of the silk made this outfits perfect for spring, I really liked this collection

Ermenegildo Zegna presented a collection for his diffusion line, Z Zegna, with a 60s-to-70s feeling, but with a modern twist. Iridiscent fabrics, suits the sleeves cut, printed fabrics and a lot of pastel hues mixed with earth tones. The mirror shades were present in all the looks

Rossella Jardini from Moschino presented a collection inspired by Pop Art and color blocks, a very fun collection, she plays with graphic shirts inside suits, and bomber jackets with Pop Art prints, pocket squares were also in that print.
