Milan Menswear Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 part 4

This is the last post about Milan, tomorrow I will be posting Paris Fashion Week and on Tuesday maybe the Haute Couture shows!!!
This last review is about Missoni, Giorgio Armani, Fendi and Dsquared2, strong names and strong collections presented by all them

We start with Missoni, which is an Italian brand well know for their knits, their color pallete and this collection had that bohemian spirit of the house presenting a lot of textures on almost all the pieces, like beading on the knitted sweaters, and Ombré patterns on some knitted pieces, silk was also part of the collection as well as neon, which was the "pop of color" of this collection.

Fendi's lookbook was full of modern pieces but with a certain spirit of the 60s, color block was present in several pieces, as well as graphic patterns on suits, there was also a space for leather pieces, which Fendi is well known for and a lot of accesories for the modern man, like the iPad cases.

Dean and Dan Caten presented their collection for Dsquared2 based on the 80s S&M trend, we saw a lot of leather pieces, dyed jeans, police caps and a lot of accesories made of chains, this was a very wearable and strong collection, there was a space even for skirts.

Giorgio Armani presented a very sporty collection for his main line, a lot of knitted blazers, a lot of whites and earth tones that is very common on the Armani collections. This collection also had printed suits, pants made of silk and some coats.

This is the end of the Milan posts, what we saw was mainly based on colours and full printed suits, a lot of earth tones, light blazers, and the typical white for the spring collections. Very refreshing considering the last fall collections and I will be talking about Paris tomorrow, stay tunned :D
